Editorial Policy and Processes

Peer-review

Groundings' editorial process conforms to a double-blind peer review. Fully anonymised submissions are reviewed in first instance by members of the Editorial Board, then secondarily by our Academic Advisory Board (consisting largely of Univeristy faculty members).

Aims and Scope

Groundings PG aims to publish the best work of the Postgraduate academic community at the University of Glasgow. Working in co-operation with the University Vice-Chancellor's office & Glasgow Open Journals, we accept submissions in the arts, humanities and social sciences, and exist as a unique opportunity for Undergrads to publish their work. Submissions should generally be between XXXXXX words in length (excluding references), and may be any form of academic work. Please note we do not accept opinion pieces or any like form.

Fees

Groundings operates as a completely free-of-charge Journal, in-line with our aims of broadening access to the Postgraduate community. There are no charges for submission, editing, page counts or any other area.

Distribution

Groundings PG publishes in an online format on this platform. Authors are free to distribute any issue or form of their work to any institution or repository they see fit.

Groundings PG will distribute its volumes to the UK's National Legal Deposit Libraries through the Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries and the British Library.
