About the Journal

The Scottish Journal of Open Research provides a platform for communication around open research. This journal originates from within the Open Research Scotland group, which aims to facilitate discussion and information around open research with an overall goal to encourage good research practice and support communication within the open research community and beyond. We welcome contributions from anyone who supports open research, or who wants to learn about the many facets of open research practice.

The journal is currently in a pilot phase which is intended to allow us to publish while some of our editors, reviewers and authors familiarise themselves with open journal publishing.
