Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements, per our Submission Guidelines.

• The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• The submission file is an editable document, for example Microsoft Word, OpenOffice, or RTF file format.
• References are included using APA (American Psychological Association) 7th edition.
• A cover page is included (as a separate document, if blind peer review requested) that includes at a minimum:
  • Title
  • Subtitle (optional)
  • Author name(s), affiliation(s) and email(s), with corresponding author indicated
  • Abstract (max. 250 words)
  • Key words (up to 5)
  • Conflict of interest
  • Funding acknowledgement
  • Author bio (max. 150 words)
• Figures and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end, with captions above (tables) or below (figures).
• No content in the submission has been produced by generative AI.
