Hello From Your New Editor-in-Chief

Abstract

Hello everyone, it’s Daanyaal your Surgo
Editor-in-Chief for the 2024/25 academic
year. I am very excited to continue Surgo’s
legacy and build on it along with the rest of
my team. We have many plans for the
upcoming year with our main goal being to
deliver fun and informative editions of
Surgo. This year I want each Surgo edition
to have an overarching theme which fits
with the time the editions are going to be
released. Another big goal for us is the
build on and push the Surgo Instagram
with fun articles and reels being put on
there. Finally, I would like to run more
Surgo competitions and a medical
journalism course to help build the Surgo
name and audience. I am excited for a new
year of Surgo and hope everyone else is as
well.
