Note from the Editor in Chief

Abstract

Hello Freshers and welcome everyone to
Surgo 23/24! Maybe you have heard of
Surgo before, maybe you haven't, but it
doesn't matter because this year we are
putting Surgo on the MAP. Thanks to the
help of last years' committee and Prof.
Cindy Chew we now have Surgo attatched
to an ISBN number, meaning that Surgo
articles count as official publications
(points for the CV, absolutely!).
I hope that Surgo becomes a place that
we can share social events, elective
stories, posters from research projects,
interesting interviews and a continuous
alumni column. I am so very excited
about this new and improved Surgo and
everything that we will achieve this
coming year!
